Book about Karl Schultz-Köln (1921–2013), painter, ceramist and patron of Art Lab Gnesta. Essays by Emma Strindmar Norström, Signe Johannessen and Caroline Malmström.

The design process was preceded by a short residency stay at Art Lab Gnesta in KSK's former home, in order for us to investigate his archives and environment. The typeface on the cover and title pages is based on stencil letters used by Karl to mark boxes, signs, covers for folders, etc. The scanned facsimiles throughout the book are outtakes from a draft for the documentation of his own life and practice, which Karl started to work on but never himself was able to finish.
